device was originally developed by doctors from NHS Scotland and
originally patented by Scottish Health Innovations Ltd on behalf of NHS Scotland.
The Arc is now manufactured by
JRBiomedical Ltd, a UK medical company who supplies diagnostic
equipment
for special care baby units to help diagnose infections in premature
babies.
